This continues the cycle of poverty.¥ The Malawian currency (Kwacha) is weaker than ever and Malawians are struggling more than ever to make ends meet.¥ 80% of the population in Malawi is below age 35. The 20% of adults cannot provide for the 80%. This limits the youth from excelling and achieving. ¥ There is currently a food shortage in Malawi. One of the worst famines in decades has left 25% of the people hungry: 1.5 million children are suffering from hunger.
