Christmas Programs

Thank you so much for supporting WGTS with this project. Here's the response we got from our VFW Coordinator, Big John, after the Christmas party for wounded soldiers at Walter Reed:

“I wanted to let you know that “I am on a Mission from God.” Last night your station and your listeners made that mission a success.

I was worried about Christmas at Walter Reed that we with the VFW try to do every year. I had a few key members of my post leave this year, soldiers who were wounded and had helped who have since gone home. I was STRESSED. I just put out a blanket appeal and trusted that the Lord will provide…but then I was blessed by having you all help me…You sent me an Angel in the person of your friend Lulu who took charge allowing me just to carry what paltry gifts I had and then the Miracle happened. A friend had sent boxes of gifts that the office here was holding for the party…your assistant arrived with all the tools gift cards and well wishes… ….VFW members arrived…it was “Loaves and fishes”….

I WISH YOU COULD HAVE BEEN HERE!

You should have seen the face of the first guy who we gave a tool….I was blessed ….
I want to thank everyone who helped…..

Last night a miracle happened. I saw it. Without this station and its friends I was awash, and you made that miracle happen…GOD’S WORK! Keep it up!
